Creator Commentary

The person on the phone is abusive towards Phoebe, and here I used the harsh white lines as a representation of the abuse. It stays, echoing in Phoebe's ear and affecting the way she thinks about herself. In the final panel, white starts to pour out of her eyes (how she views herself and the world around her) and her mouth (negative self-talk, self-dismissing).
