Creator Commentary

Using the idea of white as representing the abuse, in the first panel it is surrounding our main character, Phoebe, but becomes internalized to her coat in the third panel. In the fifth panel, having made herself vulnerable by answering the phone, the ground falls out from under her (fully white).
