Squeezed Out By Stress

Creator Commentary

A large, disembodied hand squeezes a figure that is part toothpaste tube and part woman. She has no arms and the neck of her garment is like the tip of the tube where the toothpaste comes out. She is in profile and her expression is slightly pained. Her hair flares out in a violent motion. Behind her is a toothbrush about her height.

When I drew this piece I was incredibly stressed out, and I felt it in my body a lot of the time: this sensation of of being compressed and extruded. The pressure I experienced gave me the sense of having every last drop squeezed out of me.
